Who am I?

Schedule an appointment with Hensley.

Bringing heart, humor and humanity to the work of reimagining death.

With a background in psychology, philosophy, and liberal studies as well as being a certified EMT in the state of California. She currently works as a volunteer for non-profit hospice in addition to hands on experience working as a death care professional with Dignity Memorial.

Seeing how Corporations capitalize on the grief and ignorance of loved ones left behind sparked a fury that drives her to educate with a goal to change the world’s narrative around dying.

Hensley had always been fascinated with peoples discomfort around death. Having faced more than her fair share of death in her early twenties, including her mother’s death whose funeral she planned at 22 years old. Seeing the harmful affect ignoring these conversations around death and the burden left on loved ones in charge of managing the logistics when there was no education or clarity left around final wishes.

Blending intellect with empathy to guide thoughtful end-of-life planning. Hensley is on a mission to change the stigma around dying and normalizing a healthy relationship with mortality and impermanence.
